Polynucleotides are short fragments of DNA, extracted from the gonads of wild-caught salmon and purified to medical grade. Once injected into the dermis, these fragments act as a powerful biological signal that tells local fibroblasts to produce new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, and accelerates the body's natural tissue repair pathways. The result is genuine regeneration of the skin from within rather than the addition of a synthetic product on top.

A standard course is three to six sessions spaced four weeks apart. Three sessions give a noticeable improvement; six sessions give the strongest, longest-lasting result because the collagen and elastin remodelling builds with each session. Maintenance sessions every six to nine months are recommended once the initial course is complete. For scarring protocols, a longer course may be agreed at consultation.

Downtime is minimal. Expect small injection points, mild swelling and possible light bruising for one to two days. Most patients return to work the next day with light makeup once twelve hours have passed. Saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and intense exercise are out for forty-eight hours. SPF 50 daily for two weeks while the skin rebuilds is non-negotiable.

We do not treat patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have a known allergy to fish proteins, who have an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, who are on blood-thinning medication without prior medical clearance, who have certain auto-immune conditions, or who have a history of keloid scarring. A single polynucleotide session is £149. A course of three is £320, working out at approximately £107 per session. A course of six is £580, working out at approximately £97 per session and the most popular protocol because the regenerative effect is strongly cumulative.
