Sunekos is the bio-stimulating skin booster that rebuilds the dermis rather than refilling it. A precise mix of hyaluronic acid and six amino acids signals your own fibroblasts to lay down new collagen and elastin, restoring elasticity and quality to skin that creams and serums cannot reach. From £250 per single session, with a four-session course from £999 for full face, across our seven UK clinics.

How Sunekos actually works

Sunekos is a patented formulation of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid combined with a precise blend of six amino acids: glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine, L-valine and L-alanine. Together, these are the exact building blocks fibroblasts need to manufacture new collagen and elastin in the dermis.

Once injected into the mid-layer of the skin, the formulation does two things in sequence. The hyaluronic acid hydrates and plumps immediately, giving the early glow. The amino acid mix then signals dormant fibroblasts to begin producing fresh collagen and elastin over the following weeks, rebuilding the structural matrix of the skin.

This is why Sunekos sits in a different category from dermal filler. Filler adds volume on top of the existing tissue; Sunekos rebuilds the existing tissue itself. The result is firmer, more elastic, better-quality skin rather than added structure.

Where Sunekos shines

The under-eye area is the standout protocol. A gentler formulation is placed into the thin skin around the orbit to soften dark circles, reduce fine crepiness and restore freshness without the risk of puffiness or the Tyndall effect that under-eye filler can cause.

On the face, Sunekos addresses fine lines, dehydration and early loss of elasticity, particularly across the cheeks, forehead and perioral area. For the neck and decolletage, it tackles the crepey, lined skin that topical products cannot improve and where filler is rarely appropriate.

Many patients book Sunekos as a complement to other treatments rather than a replacement. It pairs well with Profhilo for deeper bio-remodelling, with anti-wrinkle injections for dynamic lines, and with Hydrafacial or LED for surface maintenance between sessions.

After your Sunekos

Expect small injection points, mild redness and possible light swelling for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours, particularly around the eyes. No makeup over the treated area for the first twelve hours, and no touching, rubbing or massaging for the first day while the product settles.

Saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, swimming pools and intense exercise are out for forty-eight hours. SPF 50 every morning for at least two weeks is non-negotiable while the new collagen and elastin develop.

The early glow appears within a few days. The real structural improvement, firmer, more elastic, better-quality skin, builds over four to six weeks and continues through the course. Most patients book a maintenance session every six to nine months once the initial four-session course is complete.

Often considered alongside

Patients booking Sunekos often consider Profhilo for deeper bio-remodelling of the face and neck, Lumi Eyes as a polynucleotide alternative for the under-eye area, salmon DNA polynucleotide for broader regenerative skin work, and mesotherapy for surface brightening between Sunekos sessions.

Common questions

What patients ask first.

What is Sunekos and how does it work? +

Sunekos is an injectable skin booster that pairs low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid with a precise mix of six amino acids: glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine, L-valine and L-alanine. Once injected into the dermis, this combination signals fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, rebuilding the structural matrix of the skin rather than just hydrating the surface. The result is firmer, smoother, more elastic skin that improves over the course of a few weeks as the new tissue matures.

Where on the body can Sunekos be used? +

Sunekos is licensed for use on the face, neck, decolletage and the delicate under-eye area. It is particularly useful for thin, crepey skin where dermal fillers would be too structural and where topical creams cannot reach. The under-eye protocol uses a lower-strength formulation suitable for the thin skin around the orbit, while a stronger formulation is used for fuller face, neck and decolletage protocols.

How many Sunekos sessions will I need? +

A standard course is three to four sessions spaced two to three weeks apart. The first session begins the bio-stimulation; subsequent sessions amplify and sustain the result. Most patients book the four-session course because the cumulative effect is markedly stronger than two or three sessions alone. A maintenance session every six to nine months helps preserve the result once the initial course is complete.

Is there downtime after Sunekos? +

Downtime is minimal. Expect small injection points, mild redness and possible light swelling for twenty-four to forty-eight hours, particularly around the eyes. Most patients return to work the same day, with light makeup once twelve hours have passed. Saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and intense exercise are out for forty-eight hours; SPF 50 daily for two weeks is non-negotiable while the skin rebuilds.

Who should not have Sunekos? +

We do not treat patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, who have a known allergy to any of the constituents, who are on blood-thinning medication without prior medical clearance, or who have a history of keloid scarring. Medical history is reviewed in detail at the £25 consultation and a treatment plan is only agreed if it is safe for you.

When will I see results from Sunekos? +

Early hydration and a subtle glow appear within a few days as the hyaluronic acid takes effect. The real structural change, firmer, more elastic skin from new collagen and elastin, develops over four to six weeks and continues to build through the course. Photographs taken at consultation and at each follow-up help track progress, and most patients see the strongest results around six to eight weeks after the final session of a four-session course.

How much does Sunekos cost at CoLaz? +

Single sessions are priced by area: dark eye circles £250, forehead £250, neck £300, decolletage £300, full face £425, full face plus neck and decolletage £500. Four-treatment courses, the recommended protocol for most patients, are £999 for full face and £1,200 for full face plus neck and decolletage, a meaningful saving over single sessions. A £25 consultation is required before any session is booked and includes a written treatment plan.
