Common questions

About the Paddington clinic

Where is the CoLaz London Paddington clinic?

We are at 31 Southwick Street, London W2 1JQ, a five-minute walk from Paddington station and around five minutes from Edgware Road. The clinic sits in a quiet residential street just off the A40, with Lancaster Gate and Hyde Park a short walk south. We are easy to reach from Paddington, Bayswater, Marylebone, Notting Hill, Lancaster Gate, Hyde Park, Maida Vale, Edgware Road and Little Venice.

How do I get to the London Paddington clinic by public transport?

Paddington station serves the Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith and City and Elizabeth lines, plus the Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway, and is a five-minute walk from the clinic. Edgware Road, also five minutes away, serves the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Lancaster Gate on the Central line is about ten minutes south. We are also a short walk from Paddington Basin and Little Venice.

Which treatments are available at the London Paddington clinic?

The London Paddington clinic delivers laser hair removal, the skin rejuvenation menu, injectables, skin blemish removal by advanced electrolysis, hair-loss work and wellness IV drips. The blemish list covers skin tags, milia, spider naevi, blood spots (cherry angiomas) and telangiectasia (thread veins), quoted from a photo on WhatsApp. A few specialty procedures are delivered only at our Reading and Hounslow clinics. The full list for this location is in the treatments section on this page, and if you are unsure which treatment is right for your concern, the free fifteen-minute consultation is the easiest way to talk it through with a qualified clinician.

Do I need to book a consultation before treatment at London Paddington?

Yes. Every treatment at the London Paddington clinic starts with a free fifteen-minute consultation with a qualified clinician, in person or by WhatsApp. The consultation reviews your goals, your medical history and any contraindications, then ends with a written treatment plan and a transparent price quote. Nothing is booked from the consultation without your agreement and there are no upsells in the chair.

What are the opening hours of the London Paddington clinic?

The London Paddington clinic is closed all day Monday, then open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Same-day and next-day appointments are often available, message us on WhatsApp for the fastest reply.

How do I message the London Paddington clinic on WhatsApp?

Tap the WhatsApp button on this page and your message will land directly with the Paddington team. The franchise owners run their WhatsApp through the Resoclinx platform they use day-to-day, so replies are typically within five minutes during opening hours. WhatsApp is the fastest route for a price query, an appointment time or a general question about a treatment.

How much does laser hair removal cost in Paddington?

At CoLaz Paddington a single laser hair removal session starts from £30 for the upper lip, and a full body session is £225. Other areas are priced individually on our laser hair removal page. Course prices for six or ten sessions are set out at your free consultation, and every price is confirmed in writing before you book.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Laser hair removal gives long-term hair reduction rather than guaranteed permanent removal. Most clients see far less regrowth after a full course of six to eight sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Hormone-driven growth, such as PCOS-related facial hair, can need eight or more sessions, and one or two top-up sessions a year usually keep the result.

Do I need to shave before laser hair removal?

Yes. Shave the area twelve to twenty-four hours before your appointment, so no hair sits above the skin but the root is still there for the laser to target. Do not wax, thread, pluck or use hair removal cream between sessions, because those remove the root. If you arrive unshaved, the Paddington team may shave the area for you or move a larger area to another day.

Who should not have laser hair removal?

Laser only works on hair with pigment, so very blonde, red, grey or white hair does not respond. We also wait if your skin is tanned, and we check your medical history and medications first, because some, such as recent acne medication, affect suitability. Every new client at Paddington has a free consultation and a patch test forty-eight hours before the first session, so we can confirm it is safe for your skin.
