An oxygen facial uses a specialised device to deliver pressurised, purified oxygen onto the skin alongside a tailored infusion of hydrating and brightening serums. The pressure helps the serum penetrate beyond the surface, plumping the skin with moisture and giving an immediate, visible glow. There are no needles, no acids and no peeling. The treatment is sometimes described as a celebrity pre-event facial because of how visibly fresh the skin looks straight away.

Oxygen facial is the standout pre-event treatment for dull, dehydrated or tired-looking skin that needs a fast glow. It also works as a calming maintenance for sensitive skin that cannot tolerate acid peels or needling, and as a refreshing top-up between bigger protocols such as Hydrafacial, peels or microneedling. It will not address structural concerns such as deep lines, scarring or laxity; for those, other treatments on the CoLaz menu are more appropriate.

Hydrafacial uses a vortex-suction device to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and infuse in a multi-step protocol designed to give deeper cleansing alongside the glow. Oxygen facial uses pressurised oxygen and serum infusion in a simpler, gentler protocol that suits very sensitive skin and patients who want a faster, lighter session. Many patients alternate the two across the year.

A single oxygen facial gives a noticeable, immediate glow that lasts about a week. A course of six spaced two to four weeks apart gives a deeper, more sustained improvement in hydration and brightness. Most patients book a single session ahead of an event and a course when they want a longer-term maintenance plan. Maintenance every four to six weeks once the initial course is complete keeps the skin looking fresh.

There is no downtime at all. The skin is plumper, brighter and more hydrated immediately after the session, with no redness, peeling or restriction. Makeup can be applied straight away, exercise is fine the same day, and there are no rules about heat, sun or swimming beyond your normal SPF routine. Oxygen facial suits almost every skin type, including sensitive and reactive skin. We do not treat patients who are pregnant in the first trimester as a precaution, patients with an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, or patients with severe rosacea where pressurised contact may flare the redness.
