At CoLaz we use the Dermapen device, the depth set per area, and we always pair the channels with a hyaluronic-acid or growth-factor serum so the active ingredient reaches the lower layers of the skin directly.
What depths and areas does CoLaz treat? +
Needle depth is matched to the skin and the goal. A face protocol typically uses 0.5mm to 1.0mm for fine lines, pores and overall renewal. Deeper passes of 1.5mm to 2.5mm are used for acne scars, stretch marks and body areas where the skin is thicker. We treat the face, the neck, the decolletage, the abdomen, the thighs, the breast and the upper arms. Stretch marks and scars need the deeper depth, which is why those sessions feel more intense and recover over a longer window than a face session.
How many microneedling sessions do I need? +
A single session gives a visible refresh, but most patients see the strongest result after a course of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.
