Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment, but it is not a dermal filler. Where fillers are designed to add volume and shape in a specific spot, Profhilo spreads under the skin to hydrate the tissue and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The result is firmer, more elastic, better-hydrated skin without changing the underlying shape of your face. Profhilo also uses pure hyaluronic acid with no chemical cross-linking agents, which is one reason its safety profile is so strong. The face is the most common treatment area, using the Bio-Aesthetic Points technique that places five injection points per side along the cheek, jawline and temple.
