Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment, but it is not a dermal filler. Where fillers are designed to add volume and shape in a specific spot, Profhilo spreads under the skin to hydrate the tissue and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The result is firmer, more elastic, better-hydrated skin without changing the underlying shape of your face. Profhilo also uses pure hyaluronic acid with no chemical cross-linking agents, which is one reason its safety profile is so strong. Patients often describe the outcome as looking like themselves, only fresher.

The face is the most common treatment area, using the Bio-Aesthetic Points technique that places five injection points per side along the cheek, jawline and temple.
