Ultrasound Cavitation: The Newest Technology in Non-Invasive Liposuction

What Is Ultrasound Cavitation? When it comes to cosmetic surgery, more and more people are seeking
alternatives to the more risk-laden fat-loss procedure of liposuction.

Also known as Ultrasonic Cavitation or Cavi-Lipo, Ultrasound Cavitation is a painless, non-surgical option which
is proving popular to other more invasive cosmetic surgery choices.

Ultrasound Cavitation

While Ultrasound Cavitation in cosmetic treatment was first introduced in Milan in 2005, cavitation technology has been around since the 60s.

One of the major advantages of the treatment is its capability for body sculpting and achieving fast, uniform results.

Unlike the risk of uneven or lumpy irregularity which is often left by liposuction, Ultrasound cavitation is the breakthrough treatment you’ve been waiting for to achieve smooth, permanent fat loss.

Ultrasound Cavitation is a relatively new body-contouring aesthetic treatment using the latest in cutting-edge cosmetic technology.

A session of CoLaz Ultrasound Cavitation literally sculpts your body into a trimmer, more toned shape.

It works best on those stubborn areas that refuse to be eliminated by diet and exercise. The treatment
targets muffin tops, love handles, thighs, buttocks, arms, male breasts, the stomach, and small areas of the face for fat reduction.

It is totally non-invasive, non-surgical and comes with no pain or side-effects.

Using the delivery of ultrasonic waves, the Ultrasound Cavitation process warms and vibrates fat cell
deposits below the surface of the skin.

In due course, the pressure of this frequency causes the fat cells to liquefy and dissolve into the bloodstream.

The body can then metabolize these fatty membranes through its own waste-disposal method: the lymphatic drainage system.

How Does Ultrasound Cavitation Work?

Ultrasonic Cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound waves to target and reduce fatty deposits
beneath the skin and smooth out cellulite in specific problematic areas all over the body.

It is a safe, non-invasive alternative to liposuction in that as well as being an entirely painless procedure,
the procedure requires no downtime—before or after treatment.

Ultrasound cavitation is a fat emulsification approach to fat loss. The method works by converting fat cells into a
substance that is eliminated through the body’s own natural lymphatic filtration system.

A single, specific body part session usually lasts between 20–30 minutes. While areas can be revisited to improve the outcome
and reach the desired body shape, you must allow 48-72 hours between each session for your body to discharge the liquid fat cells.

Typically, most people begin to see a significant difference by the third treatment. CoLaz recommends more
to see the most dramatic results.

It’s important to drink plenty of water post-treatment before and after treatment to see the best results by helping
your body metabolize the fat cells as quickly and effectively as possible.

Ultrasound Cavitation Results

Results vary greatly from individual to individual, but it can take from as little as one session to see changes.

Designed not as a weight loss method, but rather a body shaping and sculpting procedure, the aim of Ultrasound
Cavitation though is to achieve the following desirable outcomes:

Reduced cellulite

(1) Reduced cellulite and firmer skin
Due to the additional benefit of new
collagen and elastin fibre production promoted by the ultrasonic waves

ultrasound weight loss

(2) Reduced size of the treated area
Due to the breakdown and
release of fatty deposits.

Reduced cellulite

(3) An overall more sculpted and
contoured body shape
Thanks to a combination of the
advantages listed above.

What Happens to the Fat Cells Post-Treatment?

Once the fat cells (triglycerides) are broken down and emulsified, the liquid is discharged into the intra-cellular space between cells.

The body then metabolizes this enzymatically-changed fluid into glycerol and free fatty acids.

The blood absorbs the water soluble and uses it as an energy source. The insoluble free fatty acids, however, are processed through the liver in the natural lymphatic process.

Ultrasound Cavitation FAQ

Will I need to take time off work?

The treatment lasts about 30 minutes, is totally painless, and comes with no known side effects. Usually, the results can be seen immediately, and you can resume your normal routine and exercise straight away.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions all depends on the individual, their chosen target area, and the desired outcome. It’s important to remember that Ultrasound Cavitation is not advised as a weight loss method, rather the procedure is designed to reduce fat cells to sculpt and reshape the body. The procedure excels at removing localised and stubborn areas of fat or cellulite that have been resistant to diets and exercise. Ultrasound Cavitation works best in conjunction with a healthy and balanced lifestyle of good nutrition and plenty of exercise. Many people will need between 3 – 10 treatments (at the necessary intervals of 72 hours) to see the best results.

How safe is Ultrasound Cavitation?

This non-invasive, non-surgical alternative to liposuction is very safe and ideal for people who are looking to target stubborn areas of fat which have been resistant to diet and exercise.

How much will the treatment cost?

We encourage clients to arrange a free consultation with us first to discuss the size and desired outcome of the areas you wish to have treated to give you a better idea of cost.

Will I put the weight back on?

Our bodies are made up of a finite number of fat cells. However, excessive calorie intake can trigger any remaining fat cells to overcompensate and increase. It is crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and plenty of exercise post-treatment.
