Hi CoLaz

I recently noticed a patch of dry skin on my arm. It started out really small and started to get bigger. It doesn’t hurt, itch, or ooze. It’s just there and I have no idea why. Today, I noticed that I’m getting more of those same small, discolored patches on my collarbone and it’s starting to worry me.

Hi Lillian

Thank you for your message and the image attached.

My best suggestion would be to first visit your GP as the image appears to look like it could either be a ringworm, psoriasis and/or a different form of skin problem. Usually in this case your GP may prescribe you with antibiotics or cream to treat the concerned area and/or refer you to see a dermatologist.

In the meantime I would advise you not to touch the area or apply any products which have scented/perfumed ingredients but if the area does become quite irritable then the best product to apply would be pure aloe vera to keep the area soothing and calm but you must not itch the area at all.

Hope the above answers your question

Thank and kind regards

Alaiyka
