Milia Removal and Acne Scarring

hi, i have a lot of acne scarring, milia on my chin area, and a raised scar on my cheek from acne scar, how many sessions of oxy peel would you recommend

Reply Hi,

The best thing is that you come in for a consultation so that the therapist will be able to look at your skin, and she will be able to give you a rough idea of how many sessions you will require.

From what you have stated it does sound like you do have alot of acne scarring, it seems to be quiet raised and bumpy. If what you suffer from is Keiloid scarring then oxypeel will not be able to help.

If it is superficial scarring, such as that caused by spots that have gone brown – then oxypeel does normally help to stabilise the skin and get it back to normal.

With regards to the Milia around your chin area, instead of oxypeel there is a method of advanced electrolysis that we can undertake. Several of the Milia can be removed within just a 15 minute session. Another method would be the use of a small needle to dissect them during facials.

Again my best recommendation is that you come in for a consultation where a therapist can have a look at your skin.

I hope that helps
