Laser hair removal

Hi,

I want to know can we shave between treatments.

I know you have to shave after 10-14 days,

But what about after that period, can we keep shaving until our next session or not?

Thanks in advance

Dear Iqbal

Thank you for your interest in Colaz.

We advise that the shedding process can be anytime between 7-14 days, the timing of hair shedding appears to vary depending on various factors such as follicle types. The shedding phase is known the be the Exogen phase and shaving during that time frame actively encourages the shedding process.

With regards to shaving in between sessions, yes you are able to shave as and when you need too after the shedding process, as shaving will only remove the hair on the surface of the skin which is known to be the hair shaft and will not directly affect the hair follicle. In addition to that, we then return back to shaving one night prior to your treatment day to avoid sensitivity as well as remove the hair shaft off the surface of the skin to avoid blocking the laser beam from penetrating through.
