laser hair removal on dry skin (eczema)
Hi, I am considering laser hair removal for the first time. I wax regularly with no side effects. I do have dry skin and mild eczema on my joints and neck, which flares up infrequently. Would this mean I am not suitable for laser treatment or am i more at risk of any side effects? And lastly, would you suggest laser over IPL for asian skin?
Reply Hello thank you for contacting CoLaz
In regards to eczema we just need to avoid the area's where it is. You can still opt for Laser hair removal everywhere else however if treated on the area it could flare up the condition. Your therapist will always examine the area's prior to your treatment so you won't have anything to worry about. IPL for hair removal is not suitable for Asian to darker skin types as it can easily cause burns and long term damage to an individuals skin.
The ND Yag is proven to be the best on the market for Asian skin types and the safest as it treats clients up to a skin type 6.
