Female Hair Removal Nipple Areas

by Kay

Its incredibly embarrassing... but I have been suffering with really bad female hair around the nipple since puberty. I am 25 years old now and have been plucking them every week since the age of 12.

I have checked online for ways to get rid of it... do you think electrolysis is an option?

The hairs are very thick and dark. I'm fair/tanned skin colour.

How long would it take?
Is it permanent?

To remove Female hair removal for the nipple area, electrolysis is probably your best option. There is a risk you will get a burn with laser hair removal around the nipple area as the skin is dark.

You will require repeat sessions with electrolysis. How many? It all depends on your hair growth and what stage your hair growth is in.

Some clients have 6 months worth of treatments other clients come in for a year. It all varies from individual to individual

I can say Electrolysis is the only method proven by the FDA to be 100% permanent

With regards to Scarring you will probably get a few scabs but they normally drop off without leaving scars.

The cost is per minute and it depends how much Nipple hair there is and how long the session will take. We charge £8 for 10 minutes but if you buy a course of 6 then you get a good discount.

Best thing to do is come in for a consultation and one of the therapists will look at your hair growth and advise you better.

Damages to breast in nipple hair removal?

I purchased a flash n go product for home hair removal. I know that precautions all say not to do the nipple area or genitals, but i was hoping you could fill me in a bit more on the details of any dangers here. is it just a factor of the skin being too delicate? or are there risks for sensitivity or even to development of breast milk in later life (not pregnant). thanks

Reply Hi,
If you purchased a home care kit, you need to follow their instruction. Whatever they're telling you, you need to follow, because I don't know what NEG, the home care kit uses.

Basically, I can't actually comment on this, so my best advice is, refer back to the manufacturer's instructions. If you've got any concerns, you need to contact them. But the lasers that we use, we treat nipple area, we treat the genital areas as well.

Obviously, with the laser, we do not go over the pigment area because you can lose the pigment colour and you can actually get very, very severe burns.

So I'm assuming this is what they're trying to refer to, but they haven't actually put it in the instructions, but they should have. Again, speak to the manufacturers, that are my best advice.
