Hi, I'm Aman. I got loads of hair on my hands and I'm not really sure if the laser hair removal is the best option for me. If it is how many treatments would i need and how much is it going to cost?
I'm very lucky because I live around the corner from your clinic. I am worried about my hands because I have never shaved them in my life and I'm not intending to shave if the laser wont make any difference. Hope to hear from you soon.
Answer Hi Aman. Come in for a consultation and let me see your hair growth and skin type. Either Applisonix or laser may be suitable.
The cost for laser will be around £40 per session and if you book a course of six sessions I can probably get the price down to £192.
Hi I wanted to know on average what price is charged per session.
Also I heard as a result of laser treatment you develop marks on the treated area, is this true?
And im 19, I was wondering what area would be best to get treated first to examine the effects of laser treatment on my skin. Would it be too dangerous to get my face lasered first?
Reply You wanted to know the average price per session for laser but you have not said which area you wanted!
Also you mentioned if laser leaves marks to the treated area and if this is true?
One of the reasons why we perform a patch test is to ensure your skin does not have an adverse reaction to the laser. Although, we have found only 1% of people get a reaction to the laser.
You will only get marks on your skin if you fail to tell your therapist that you have an active tan during a course of treatment which could lead to hypo pigmentation
If you are concerned which area to start off with I suggest you start off with the underarms which will cost you around £60 per session or £280 for a course of 6 treatments
If you want to do your face your best to come in and speak with one of the therapist so that they can see your hair and skin type. I am not keen on quoting prices for the face because in some areas your hair maybe really fine and we recommend not to laser that area as it may stimulate more hair growth.
If you come in for a consultation and speak to a therapist about your concerns you’ll get a detailed response. You can check our price quote.
I would like to get all the hair from my back removed with laser hair removed but I was wondering how much it would cost? I'm not sure if you need to know my size... Im 5ft 7inch
Reply Hi Matt, Will laser be for the whole back area? Do you have any fine hairs? What colour is your hair?
It's difficult to quote a price without seeing you first because I may quote you a price for your entire back but discover you don't need laser for the whole area or I may under quote you or you may need your shoulders doing as well.
The best thing to do is come in for a free consultation and let the laser technician have a look at your hair growth and skin type so that you can get a more accurate quote.
Roughly you are looking around £100 - £150 per session for the back.
Could not find the price list for individual treatments! Though deals look tempting, still need to see the treatments' and services' price. Thanks. Vandna.
Reply Hi Vandna
I am sorry that you were unable to find treatment prices on our webpage. The reason we do not list our prices online is because we tend to personalise our prices for our clients wherever possible.
Prices can change all the time – not all our offers are listed on our website. Often you will also find that we may have special branch offers running.
There are a number of treatments that we offer. It is difficult for us to recommend the correct procedure for anyone to go ahead with. For example if you are looking to treat acne – you can either follow a course of chemical peels, Colaz advanced facials or LED light therapy.
Without seeing your skin it is difficult to tailor a course for you.
Therefore we do emphasise the importance of you coming in for consultations in order to be given the right price quote for the right treatment for you. Consultations with Colaz are FREE and there is no obligation for you to proceed with any treatment.
For now my best recommendation would be for you either to visit your nearest salon or perhaps give us a call or email regarding the treatment you are interested in and I will be in contact as soon as possible.
Our contact numbers is 0208 577 9353. Our email address is Hounslow@colaz.co.uk.
I'd be interested in 6 sessions of full body laser hair removal (full legs, full arms, full back, chest, stomach, face and bikini) how much would this cost?
Thank you for your enquiry.
Laser hair removal prices can vary according to a number of factors. These factors include a persons' gender, hair colour and hair density. Laser tends to be more effective on people who have thick dark hair and are of a fairer skin tone. Yet this can vary.
We use a gentle ND YAG laser and have seen results on a variety of people with different demographics and can cater for darker skin types such as people from an afro-Caribbean ethnicity.
It can be very difficult to suggest a price without seeing and assessing the area first. Many times we have had people enquire about Full leg laser yet after finding that their hair growth varies between the thigh and the lower leg. We may suggest that laser will only work on the lower legs as supposed to the thighs where hairs may be defined as too fine. So rather than a full leg you have half legs treated.
You may ask what the significance of hair growth being too fine is. Well, when hairs which are fine, fluffy or very light are treated there is a risk that laser will be ineffective and a complete waste of money. In some cases it can cause the hair growth to stimulate. Stimulated growth can be an increase in density or it can cause the hair to spread to other areas.
So if you think you have the one hair on your face and this is annoying you, steer clear from laser as you may end up with a beard. The best thing would be for you to consider alternative treatments such as electrolysis.
Laser hair removal is unsuitable for those people who have red hair, grey hairs, blonde hairs and white hairs. People with these hairs can also be treated with electrolysis.
Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method which targets every individual hair with a small needle which has an electric current passing through it.
However as a rough guide I can inform you that Full body laser for a female can be around £3000 - £3500. We often tend to have special offers running in our salon. This includes our current in branch offer of Full body laser for £999.
I suggest you come in for a free consultation with a therapist who will assess your hair growth and give you the most accurate quote.
I want to check what are the charges of cheek's(not shaving area above than that) hairs removal and what are its side effects? and also how long this treatment works.
Reply Hi Tom, Cheek hair removal is normally £60 per session and a course of 6 is £280. As for the side effects we normally carry out a patch test before we do a treatment to test the reaction to the skin. If after 48hrs all is fine then we start your first treatment.
Possible side effects to laser are
Redness of skin - It usually lasts up to three days after the laser hair removal procedure was done.
Swelling - is another common risk when undergoing laser hair removal procedure. It could last from one to three days.
Blistering of skin - is a common risk of laser hair removal for those who have darker skin.
Hypo pigmentation - is also common in darker skin and for the people who has multiple exposures to laser treatment.
Laser is a permanent reduction in hair growth. In other words it is not 100 permanent. One day in the future your hairs will come back but they will be a lot finer.
In order to keep the permanent reduction results you need to have regular one off top ups perhaps once a year or even twice a year.
Hi, your offering some good deals now, do you have any deals for the full back?
Answer: We have just this minute sent out our special offer alert to all our subscribers. We are offering 6 sessions for the back only £400 normal price £760. This does not include the shoulders. This offer is only available for the first 10 clients and until the 24th Dec so you need to hurry!
Wart and Skin Tags Removal For Type 2 Diabetic Afro - Caribbean Skin
I am a 50 years old Afro-Caribbean lady with mid brown skin. I am type 2 Diabetic.
Like my mother and father before me, I have developed many small warts/skin tags growing on my face (ONLY on my face!)
No amount of products seem to work and so lazer or electrolysis may be my only option.
Please let me know what your salon can do for me and how it will work. Finally please let me know how much any treatment is likely to cost, to make certain I can afford it.
I live in Essex and so your Paddington branch seems to be the nearest to me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Reply Hi Sharon, I am afraid that unfortunately we cannot carry out any advanced cosmetic procedures on clients who are diabetic as the skin will take longer to heal.
I would advise that you consult your GP, who will be able provide you with a doctors’ note to go ahead with treatment. Without this we cannot authorise any treatment.
Just to inform you with some general information about these treatments: Consultations are free; and prices start from £99 for a 15 minute appointment.
In the mean time you are welcome to book in for a consultation to discuss advanced procedures further, but treatment will only commence once you have consented your GP and bring with you a doctors’ note.
