Have you done the laser procedure for any bald-headed guys? I am interested in being as clean as a cue ball after 15 years of shaving my head. If you have done it before, do you have any before and after pics you can post? Very much appreciated, thanks!
P.S. This is a very informative and detailed website.
Reply Thanks Baldie. To answer your question, yes we have performed laser hair removal for the scalp. We seem to get a lot of bold headed guys wanting to have laser on the scalp. It is quite popular and it seems there is a big demand for this type of treatment.
I am afraid we haven’t got any before and after pictures. Would you like to be the first one?
I can honestly tell you the results are very good because the hair on the head is normally in the Anagen stage of hair growth so you should start to see a good result quite quickly but it really depends on your hair type and skin type how well the laser will work.
If you do decide to go for laser hair removal for the scalp you have to be extra careful to protect yourself from the sun and wear plenty of spf30 and keep topping this up during the days after treatment.
In the winter months it is probably even more important to apply a good sun block because the sun is closer to the earth and the uva and uvb rays are at a higher level.
We have a male client on treatment at the moment at our London Paddington branch and the treatment has worked very well for him.
Be aware once the hairs in your scalp are gone they are gone for good.
Question: I was wondering if you do laser hair removal on the head for men. I normally shave my head every 3 days and I'm now getting bored with it.
I would like to be bald permanently.
Answer:Yes laser is safe to get done on your head (scalp) as long as you apply sun factor SP30 after the treatment. The head is always exposed to the sun so it is extremely important that a good sun block is used.
You will require 6 to 8 treatments and perhaps a maintenance treatment (top up) every 6 to 12 months
