"If you are looking for professional hair removal, beauty treatments, and skin care delivered safely and responsibly, then Colaz is for you. I opened my first beauty salon in London in 2005.
I remember my original clients were young, sophisticated, and very demanding.
"They wanted to feel safe and secure getting their beauty treatments without spending a fortune.
And I wanted them to feel welcome and bring their friends with them. So I spoke to my clients to get feedback.
"And I listened to them.
"My first priority has always been that clients deserve only the best, most knowledgeable hair removal and beauty experts. I started out hiring graduates of beauty schools both private and government.
"Unfortunately, I noticed that every new student I employed could hardly perform the basics in beauty, like waxing or threading.
And I found out that some government colleges don't even teach electrical facials, which is a standard treatment at NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy.
"The solution for me was to concentrate on training. I am still continually calling on my staff to, ‘Always be learning!’ I became so dedicated to hiring qualified staff to serve my clients that in 2012 I started my own beauty school!
It's called the Beaulaz Beauty and Laser Training Center at locations in Slough and Hounslow.
"When it came to finding the best laser hair removal machines, I did a lot of research and visited exhibitions throughout the country, attended forums and spoke with many laser hair removal specialist and clinics.
I finally decided on what I think are the best lasers for hair removal on the market.
"They are the Soprano XL pain-free, hair-free laser machine and the Candela Gentle YAG laser. These two medical grade laser hair removal machines don't come cheap…both my accountant and bank manager nearly had a heart attack when I told them how much it cost me!
"In fact our training, systems, and proven results convinced us to franchise the CoLaz brand to talented entrepreneurs throughout Britain.
"We've helped thousands of Londoners look and feel sexy, smooth, and confident. And they've been impressed with the results, referring their families and friends to us.
"Our treatment rooms have a different feeling, as if you're in a different country. Like getting a facial in the Brazilian rainforest with music where you relax and let you cares drift away.
"And soon we'll be introducing our private label line of CoLaz Skin Care Products. So I invite you to request a call back from our website (upper right of this page) to answer any questions you have about hair removal, beauty treatments, and skin care…you will be glad you did!"
Manroop started her first salon, Beauty Corner in 2005. She managed a staff of four and offered waxing, threading, electrolysis, facials, massage, electric facials, Indian head massage, manicure, pedicure, makeup, bridal makeup, hairstyles, heena and Reiki.
Before opening the Beauty Corner, she was a payroll administrator for Technical Aid International, a worldwide staffing firm specializing in engineering and information technology. She interviewed candidates for employment, prepared contracts, and handled employee accounting and administration.
This was invaluable experience for her as she manages her own employees at CoLaz and Beaulaz.
In 2009, she added laser hair removal and expanded to four branches re-branding the business Affordable Laser Hair Removal. Today she manages forty employees at locations in London/Paddington, Slough, Hounslow, and Southall.
In July of 2012, she opened Beaulaz Beauty and Laser Training Center with the main office/training in Slough and a training center in Hounslow. Beaulaz offers two curriculums: one for students who wish to seek employment in the beauty business and one for those who plan to own their own beauty salon.
CoLaz Advanced Beauty Specialists also offers franchise opportunities for qualified individuals who'd like to get into business for themselves. Franchisees get valuable access to tested and proven CoLaz systems plus their well-known brand.
When Manroop isn't working you might find her listening to music, meditating, or watching a Bollywood movie. But more likely she'll be spending time with her husband, Surinder, and their 3 children ages 12, 11, and 3.
